The focus of the Club Service Committee is on activities that help our club function successfully. From membership to fundraising, programs to public relations, Club Service is the backbone of our Rotary club.

The Club Service Committee is charged with designing weekly programs that have a broad focus of interest to our members. Whether it is issues local in nature or worldwide, the Rotary Club is an excellent forum for members to be kept up to date.

Community Service handles many important local projects and issues in Red Wing, and is the clearinghouse for the many community service grants the club offers. We organize several cleanups and fishing contests at our Rotary Pottery Pond. We staff and organize two summer parade events for the community. We sponsor and support a Red Wing High School Interact Club which offers both fellowship and community and international service projects.

The Club Service Committee hosts annual special events, which are forums for fellowship and fun.

Club Service events include:

Sweetheart Luncheon (February)
Charter Banquet (May)
Summer Steak Fry (August)
Holiday Party (December)

The Club Service Committee encourages all members to:

Be present at meetings
Participate in fellowship
Take part in programs
Serve on committees and on the board
Pay dues
Represent the club in activities outside the club
